Spacer Frames

Spacer frames are used to extend the depth of a picture frame, you may be concerned that the spacer frame may protrude from the back of the picture frame, but if you finish the back of the picture frame following our instructions to framing 3D objects you will have a good and presentable deep picture frame. To make it easier we now show the depth of our mouldings on our mouldings page so you can see if your chosen spacer frame will protrude or not.

We offer spacer frames in standard sizes of 10mm to 50mm, other sizes can be custom made please email us with your requirements. Our spacer frames are made of MDF, which can be used natural or can be finished with paint, wood stains, varnish, colour washes, etc.

NEW! We now offer spacer frames, which are lined with any colour mountboard on the inside face, which when ordered with an uncut back mount, combined with or without an aperture mount, gives a quality finish to the frame, which most people would describe as a box picture frame.
